Lately, I’ve been reading a lot. 6 books just in the last 3 days.

And it’s so relaxing and fun (probably because I know I don’t have to edit the damn thing….lol).

But I discovered a few things that surprises me:

1. Even professional writers sometimes mix up “your” and “you’re”
2. Many of the books are rushed and not as good as I thought they could be
3. I still love them, despite the small errors and the annoying plotholes

And that is probably why we keep reading, isn’t it? As long as the pacing is good enough so we don’t fall asleep.

They are also a major inspiration to return to my own writing. In fact, I’ll do that right now, instead of spending all my time online…
