Sunny made a terrible mistake. Getting into bed with the hunky mountain doctor that saved her life. But, he believes she’s someone else. Someone he loves.

And he’s pissed off when he learns her identity. Throwing her out.

Well, he was somewhat reluctant – to begin with…

“Am I dreaming?” Sunny murmured while he looked at the naked man looming over her.

He reminded her of someone. Someone that had starred in one of her wet dreams. She stared at his tanned and muscular chest. Taking in the perfect torso and lifting her hands to touch him.

He grabbed her wrists and held them over her head. Hmm, her dream men never did that before, Sunny thought. But she didn’t mind. It turned her on, nonetheless. She opened her lips and waited for him to come closer and kiss her. She closed her eyes again.

“No, stay awake,” he said, more sharply this time.

That woke her up. She opened her eyes and stared at him. Finally realising it was Royce, and she wasn’t dreaming. The pain from her foot was a clear reminder of what had happened.

“Why are you naked?” Sunny asked suspiciously.

“I’m not,” he said testily. “My t-shirt was dirty thanks to a clumsy hiker.”

She pointed at his muscular chest. “You’re still naked. Did you do anything interesting while I was comatose?”

Royce stiffened completely as if she’d insulted him deeply. His expression turned icy.

“I’m a doctor!” he sneered at her.

“Yeah, right. There’s always an excuse.”

Royce pointed to her ankle. “I’ve made the bandage as tight as I dared. Let it rest for a few days, before stepping on it. You should keep it elevated for the rest of the day until the swelling goes down.”

“You sound like a doctor at least. Even if you don’t look like one.”

He pulled on his dirty t-shirt and placed two crutches beside her.

“Use these when you have to move around. And take painkillers when you need to.” He opened the door and waved her friends.

“Is she okay?” Jill asked.

“She’ll live,” Royce said and walked away.

Her friends looked surprised.

“What’s got into him?” Anna asked.

“Bad night’s sleep, probably,” Sunny said.
